Oreo

Oreo is doing GREAT!! It has taken awhile but her little personality is finally coming out. She is a little trickster and loves to take the other dogs toys (or my slipper) and run around with them to chase her. Her and our female springer are about the same age and are now getting along and actually playing and wrestling. At first Oreo was very aggressive with her. She has put on about 10 pounds now and has been to the groomers twice. Our groomer had to be very patient with her bacause she is frightened by the noise. Every once in awhile she still has night tremors but we have found that if we let her take my slipper to bed with her she is fine. She likes to lay her head on it for security. Her recall is fastly improving also...along with her leash walking skills...also getting use to the car rides.

Hopefully, she will begin the OBEDIENCE/MANNER class this fall and then on to AGILITY FUNDAMENTAL class. Seems like she had never been or done anything before and everything is such a new experience for her. She loves to chase lizards and bugs in the backyard...she will watch them for hours!! She will go on her first camping trip with us next month. Just been waiting for her to gain our trust before we do any big outings. Everyday is a improvement. She has definitely become part of our family and always will be.
